Accessibility statement

ALTAYKA works to keep this site accessible to everyone, and treats accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-off target.

The standard the site aims at

The site was built with the intention of meeting Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA. The standard applies under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.

What was tested, and when

On 10.08.2026 a manual review was carried out: colour contrast measured in the browser across eight pages and all three languages, a check for horizontal overflow at a 375-pixel screen width, and full keyboard navigation through the time-selection grid on the booking calendar.

Adjustments made

Among them: colour contrast meeting the required ratios in text and in graphical elements, a visible focus indicator on every interactive element, full keyboard navigation, a hierarchical heading structure, accessible labels on links and buttons, and support for both text directions. In addition, an accessibility preferences panel lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, emphasise links and stop animations - and remembers the choice on this device.

What has not been tested yet

The review was carried out manually against criteria from WCAG 2.0. It did not include testing with an actual screen reader, and it was not performed by a certified accessibility consultant. The site is under continuous review and improvement, and we do not claim full compliance with every accessibility requirement.
