A quiet, well-lit space for the hours before the event, with room for your hair and makeup team. The same rates as any other use.

Portraits for a website, LinkedIn or a profile. Clean background and consistent lighting from one person to the next.
Product
A product table, neutral backgrounds, and the option to work long hours on one set.
Social content
A short session for stills and vertical video, with room to change outfits.
Fashion
Room for a crew, styling and movement, and a changing room included in the rental.
Video and podcast
A relatively quiet space with a stable backdrop. Not soundproofed - bring a suitable microphone.
A full day of shooting
The longer the booking, the lower the price per hour - and no full-day minimum.
North-west light, sea view
The space faces north-west on the 8th floor and looks out to the sea. Natural light comes in all day: in the morning it is soft and indirect; from midday on, direct sun comes in - through the golden hour before sunset. You can soften it, or block it out completely.

The price is set by the number of hours, and it applies on every day and at every operating hour - no evening surcharge and no weekend surcharge. All prices here include VAT.

What's included
The changing room is included- it's part of the studio, at no charge. No paid add-ons, no cleaning fee, and no charge per person. The price in the table is what you pay.

Four steps to book an hour at the studio
None of them require a phone call.
Pick a time
Drag the range that works for you on the calendar. What's shown as free really is free - checked against our own calendar.
Pay
Paid in full up front, securely. The date is held only after payment, and there is nothing left to pay on the day of the rental.
Get your code
The entry code arrives on WhatsApp 30 minutes before, and expires when your time is up. No key, and no one to wait for.
Shoot
The space is yours until the end of your booked time. The last 5 minutes are for clearing out, and there are 15 minutes between bookings to reset the space.
Short, and worth reading before you come
Most of this is here to make sure whoever comes after you gets the space in the same condition you found it.
Allowed and recommended
- Moving furniture - carefully, and with two people for large items
- Stepping on the backdrop barefoot, or in shoes covered with masking tape
- Bringing your own equipment - setup is included in your booked time, not before it
- Using the changing room, included in the rental
- Changing the backdrop yourself - no need to call staff
- Extending your booking, subject to availability
Not allowed
- Feathers, confetti, sequins, paint, oil and flour
- Smoking in the studio or the stairwell - ₪500 fine
- Leaving the space dirty - ₪300 + VAT fine
- Shooting outside the space you booked
- Animals without prior arrangement
- Relying on equipment not specified in your booking - its availability is not guaranteed
What happens if I need to cancel?
More than 72 hours before the booking - the amount paid is refunded in full. Less than 72 hours before - 80% of the amount paid is refunded, or the booking can be moved to another available date for a 20% surcharge.
And if you finish early?
Finishing early does not entitle you to a refund. The time you booked is held for you and not offered to anyone else, so the charge covers the full booked time.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Can I extend in the middle of the session?
If the hour after you is free - yes, and the booking is repriced for your new total number of hours. If it is already taken, the rental ends as scheduled. Leaving after your time is charged as an extra hour.
What if we finish early?
Payment covers the time you booked, even if the shoot wraps up early. It's better to book what you actually need and extend if possible, rather than book extra time up front.
Is there parking?
The studio is in the Tsarfati Metro complex, Paul Gruninger 4, on the 8th floor, and there is a lift. The space is wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible toilets on the floor. Parking is paid - in the complex car parks or blue-and-white on the street. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.
What if the lighting or equipment isn't working?
We check the space between bookings. If something still isn't working, one message on WhatsApp is enough - we'll come by or credit you for the time lost.
Can I come see the space beforehand?
Yes, by arrangement, at a time when nothing else is booked. A short ten-minute visit is free.
Do you provide a photographer?
No. ALTAYKA is a photo studio for hire only - you bring your own photographer and crew.
